Who we are.
IDEAL for Healthcare is a premier community built exclusively for senior and executive leaders in healthcare. We provide a trusted space to connect, exchange solutions, and grow through mentorship, career opportunities, and thought leadership. Together, we represent a collective force driving innovation, collaboration, and meaningful change in healthcare.
When leadership is more inclusive, healthcare is more effective.
Healthcare leadership doesn’t yet reflect the diversity of those who power the industry. Women make up the majority of the workforce but hold only a fraction of senior roles, and leaders of color remain especially underrepresented.
IDEAL exists to close this gap creating pathways, visibility, and advocacy so leadership better reflects the communities it serves.

Despite women comprising 70% of the global healthcare workforce, they remain significantly underrepresented in leadership roles and it is estimated to take at least another 50 years to see systematic change (2023).
Women make up 75% of entry-level healthcare roles, but only about 32% at the C-Suite level. Only 4% of C-suite positions in healthcare are held by women of color (2023).
